La Methode - Dress the change

1. Order cancellation

The Customer may cancel the order within 48 hours from the date of order confirmation and no later than the end of the month in which the order was placed.

The refund will include all standard costs incurred at the time of the order.

If the Customer wishes to rescind the order, the Customer must send La Methode written notice by email to info@lamethode.it.

La Methode will refund the amount paid using the same method used by the Customer for payment, or other method if explicitly requested by the Customer.

Each La Methode product is made to order so it is very likely that within the 14 days of order confirmation the item has not yet been delivered to the home or other address provided by the Customer.

2. Orders returns

La Methode guarantees a refund for returned items provided they are returned in the same condition in which they were received by the Customer.

The Customer shall have the right to withdraw from the concluded contract without penalty and specifying the reason, , by notifying the Seller within 30 days from the day on which the Customer or a Third Part, designated by the Customer and other than the Carrier, acquires physical possession of the item.

Items must not have been damaged, soiled, washed, altered or worn (other than for normal testing), labels and tags must be intact.
Products being returned must be properly packaged in appropriate packaging.

La Methode will refund by the same method of payment used at the time of purchase no later than 14 days after receipt of the cancellation notice, provided it has received and verified the items at its location.

The fee related to return logistics will be withheld (same amount as for the purchase shipment, so 8€ in general and 10€ for Sicily and Sardinia).

La Methode will arrange to pick up the goods at the location where they were delivered or at another location indicated by the customer.

You may alternatively bring the item yourself to our workshop, in which case no fee will be retained.

This deposit is necessary to discourage behaviours as order-try-return from which we totally disagree.

We urge our Customers to make responsible purchases and to consider the environmental, social and economic impact of purchasing and returning items.

Unnecessary shipments produce unnecessary costs and emissions.

Our products are handcrafted and made to order, this implies that production will only start on demand.
This production method involves an investment of raw material, fabric production, and making the garment itself.

3. Return for defect

In the case of purchase of a product of wrong size the Customer will be able to request a free replacement of the same.

In the case of of the Customer's desire to change the purchased item with another of the same/different type it will be possible to make the request.

Any economic differences (to the credit or debit of the Customer) will be calculated, which will be added to the shipping costs of the new product sent.

We encourage you to contact our customer service directly to agree on how to exchange goods.

4. Return of order for size/article change

In the case of purchase of a product of wrong size the Customer will be able to request a free replacement of the same.

In the case of of the Customer's desire to change the purchased item with another of the same/different type it will be possible to make the request.

Any economic differences (to the credit or debit of the Customer) will be calculated, which will be added to the shipping costs of the new product sent.

In case of receipt of defective damaged goodsor other situations not attributable to the customer you are requested to promptly notify our customer service, within in 14 days of receiving the item, of the defect and we will arrange for the return shipping.

The burden of reporting any defects and non-conformities can be discharged by transmitting to the Seller's address by contacting our customer service department by:

We also ask you to indicate the defect and/or non-conformity found, as well as the relevant documentation indicated in the form itself (at least 2 photographs of the good, the serial number, the order confirmation transmitted by the Seller and/or the tax receipt).

Following receipt of the form/statement together with the attachments, the Seller, after preliminary and summary evaluation of the reported defects and non-conformities, La Methode will authorize the return of the good(s) indicating the "Return Code" by communication to the email address indicated in the warranty service form.

Any rejection of the request will be adequately justified.

The Return Code must be affixed to the "Return Goods for Warranty Service" form, placed inside the return package, which must also contain the good(s), preferably with original packaging, as well as a copy of the return authorization notice, and must be sent within 14 days after the defect or non-conformity is reported.

Goods for which La Methode has authorized the return must be returned by Customer by contracted courier at La Methode's expense or at Customer's expense, if by other means.

The authorization to return the goods will not in any way constitute recognition of defects or non-conformities, which will be ascertained upon examination of the goods upon return to the warehouse.

If no defect is found, the goods will be returned within 30 days of receipt, with delivery costs charged to the Customer.

In the case of a repairable defect, the same will be repaired free of charge.

In the case of non-repairable defectiveness we will contact you to determine whether to:

  • produce a new garment of the same or different type as the one you ordered, if still producible and at no additional cost or with possible adjustment;
  • Offer you a voucher for your next order;
  • agree on a full refund.

Any notification regarding the status of the return will be sent via email to the address provided by the Customer during the purchase phase or to Third Party address reported of Customer.
